What we collect.
When you visit this site, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, the page you requested, your browser type, and the time of your visit). These logs are kept for a short period for security and basic troubleshooting.
If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people read. Google Analytics drops a cookie that gives your browser an anonymous ID. We never tie that ID to your name or your business.
When you fill out our wholesale inquiry form or email Van directly, we keep the contact information you send us so we can reply and follow up about wholesale service. That data lives in our email inbox, nowhere else, and we do not sell it or share it.
Why.
Server logs help us spot bots and bad actors. Analytics help us understand which wholesale pages restaurants and cafes actually read so we can write better ones. Your inquiry information lets us send you samples and a quote.
How to opt out.
The cookie banner at the bottom of the site has an Accept Required Only button. Click it and we never load Google Analytics for your visits. The site still works the same.
If you have already accepted and want to change your mind, clear the cookie called samscoffee-consent for samscoffeeroasters.com in your browser’s site settings. The banner will appear again on your next visit.
You can also use your browser’s built-in tracking protection (Safari Intelligent Tracking Prevention, Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, Brave Shields) to block our analytics independently. We will not detect you, retaliate, or change the experience.
Data deletion.
Want us to delete information you sent us through a wholesale inquiry or email exchange? Email Van at van@samscoffeeroasters.com and we will. Allow a couple of business days; we are a small operation.
